Accessibility
Choosing skilled nursing care is stressful enough. The website should never be the hard part. Find Their Care is designed and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, so that families using screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, or reduced-motion settings can search, compare, and message facilities the same way everyone else can.
What we do
- Every interactive control works with a keyboard alone, and a visible focus outline shows where you are.
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page lets keyboard users bypass the navigation.
- Images, buttons, and form fields carry text descriptions for screen readers, and status updates (like a sent message) are announced.
- Everything shown on the map is also available in the list view, which works fully with a keyboard and screen reader.
- Animations respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
- We audit the site against WCAG 2.1 AA and fix confirmed issues as part of our regular release process.
Tell us if something is hard to use
Accessibility is ongoing work, and real reports from real users matter more than any checklist. If any part of this site is difficult to use with your assistive technology, email us at support@findtheircare.com and tell us what happened and what you were using. We read every message and prioritize fixes that block someone from finding care.
